This is the BEST place in Austin! The margs, the tacos, the vibes are all impeccable. My girlfriend and I fell in love here and we come back at least once a week. Brian is our go to bar tender - he is the man!!! Half of the time we visit De Nada, we purposely sit at the bar hoping that Brian will be there. 10/10. This is our “happy place” ????

OMG! What a find. Had lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The margarita on the rocks was spot on, definitely an award winner. Tacos were out of this world.

Visited some friends who live and Austin and I wanted to check this place out . The vibes were so welcoming! The salsa are probably the best I’ve had in a restaurant, definitely taste like it was made in abuelitas kitchen! I was curious when I saw the margarita limit and after a sip I immediately understood why! I had the mango marg which was refreshing for the long hot day and you get your money’s worth! I do live across the country but this place is now on my favorites list for my Texas trips ????

The margaritas, the Mexico City quesadillas and the barbacoa tacos are all must tries! Wait times could be long during the weekend but they allow you to order drinks and apps while you wait for a table.

This is such a fun spot!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a margarita, good queso, and delicious tacos! Between the guacamole and queso, I really enjoyed the queso. The guacamole was still good but I wanted extra queso! For the tacos, I tried the Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Pollo. Loved them all! So much so, I got a second Barbacoa taco ???? The atmosphere is fun too. So much seating inside and outside and overall just a great spot. If you go, I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

De Nada Cantina has quickly become one of my favorite places in Austin. They have many different things on their menu and multiple vegetarian options. I’ll keep coming back for their verduras and comote tacos. Verduras is gigantic, a little sweet and creamy. The cheese is an excellent balance and the crunchy veggies are wonderful. The comote is really smokey, delicious and crunchy. I was also super impressed with their queso. It has excellent flavor and spices and somehow tasted light which is pretty hard to do when you’re talking about cheese. It has quickly become one of my favorite quesos. The prices are so affordable too and the wait staff is attentive and friendly.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican tacos and boozy margaritas then this is the place. We went on a Friday afternoon around 2 and there was a bit of a wait (30 ish min) but it was worth it. I ordered the frozen mezcal drink which was yummy. My favourite taco on the menu is their Carnitas - SO SO good!

The food is ok, but the margs are where it's at, which is why you always see your friends with their to go de nada pink cups at home. The inside is very very basic, but outside is actually very cute if you can stand the heat with a fan. Queso is meh, barbacoa taco is good, the ceviche they had that day we did not like, but the $2.50 paletas ice cream made up for it, my 10 months old love it! Kids menu is also super cheap and they have high chairs!

Went here on a Thursday evening and oh my, this place was popping. Had to wait around 10 mins for table for two. This place is very colorful and fun for happy hour and small group hang. I ordered the carnitas and barbacoa tacos both of which were delicious. I enjoy the blue corn tortillas - quite different from the usual tortillas. The prickly pear margarita was alright, nothing spectacular in my humble acohol experience. 2 tacos and one drink came to $25 considering how low key and simple the seating and restaurant was. Thats a little mind boggling but here we are in Austin. I'd probably come back here for drinks and small bites.
